"It's a Skirl"

My great grand daughter, Louise, could not say squirrel and said "skirl" instead.  I decided that this painting of a squirrel I will dedicate to my sweet little Louise, sitting here with her brother Daniel.

A photo by Brenda Dup was the inspiration for this coloured pencil painting of a "skirl".  It is 5 x 7 inches on Stonehenge paper.  It took several days to finish it but I am happy with the result.
